As the main manufacturer of this kind in Japan, we produce diamond styli. The machining process involves first joining a diamond to a metallic titanium shank in a vacuum deposition furnace, then polishing the diamond to a circular cone and shaping the tip to a radius of 15 microns.

Machining of diamonds and jewels
Our diamond machining technology is also used in the development of contact probes (precision measuring device terminals) and diamond cutting tools. A very sophisticated method is needed for deposition, where 500 grams must be loaded onto a joining surface of only 0.1 mm2. We also machine and polish other jewels such as sapphires and rubies with precisely formed features.

Cemented carbide machining
Cemented carbide is a cost-effective hard material that does not crack easily and is highly wear-resistant, although it is inferior to genuine diamonds. We produce spare cutters of this material for plotters that are interlocked with computers. The cutter tip is machined to a knife shape and its edge is further re-processed while enlarged through a microscope. Our jewel polishing technique is used to ensure high-quality cutters, resulting in products that have captured a top share in the market. We also produce measuring device terminals (contact probes) of cemented carbide to meet the specific requirements of our customers.

Magnet machining
The demand for magnets, critical components in motors, continues to expand together with the growing production of today's various hi-tech products. Every one of our magnet products undergoes our stringent special processing and precision machining technology. We produce every order with meticulous care to comply with the strict controls required by each customer. Our magnet products are used in mobile communication devices, computers, automobiles, cameras and home appliances that are all part of daily life. We mainly process rare earth magnets of samarium-cobalt and neodymium-iron composition.

Special materials machining
Our tungsten IC checker probes have earned a strong reputation for their dependable and high-quality characteristics. Other ceramics machining products are also very much in demand and our engineers are ready to assist customers and even produce special tools. We support our customers with a proven integrated production system that provides a variety of value-added products at low cost, in short manufacturing turnarounds, and at high quality.
