CLSET1

This product is a set consisting of the record-cleaning brush “Argent” and record-cleaning spray “Cleartone 558,” both sold by the same company. Compared with the regular product, the spray is a smaller can with a reduced volume for inclusion in this set.

Records can develop crackling scratch noise during playback when static electricity, dust, and other particles adhere to the surface. This product is effective for removing the static electricity and dust from records that cause such noise.

・Record cleaner “Argent 120”

The record cleaner “Argent” is NAGAOKA’s standard record cleaner, sold for more than half a century since its launch, including minor revisions. Its densely woven velvet brush removes fine dust adhering to records, including dust from the record grooves.
The tray in the storage case for the main unit includes a dedicated brush that keeps the cleaning surface clean. Its compact body, carrying on the tradition established since its launch, has earned continued support.

・Record-cleaning spray “Cleartone 558mini”

The record-cleaning spray “Cleartone 558mini” is a compact version of the company’s “Cleartone 558,” designed for cleaning records.

Hold the can approximately 30 cm from the record surface and spray evenly over the entire surface for about 2–3 seconds, then wipe the surface with the included record cleaner “Argent.” It has a static-eliminating effect and helps reduce scratch noise during playback.

Both products are long-selling items that have continued to be used by many record users from the heyday of records to the present.
We have assembled the products needed for record cleaning for those who have recently begun using records or returned to them.
