Thank you sincerely for your continued patronage of Nagaoka Trading. On March 9, 2020, Record Stylus Day, we will hold a memorial service for record styli at Ongaku-ji Temple (Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture).

◆ About Record Stylus Day and the Memorial Service for Record Styli
According to Nagaoka alumni, once a year on Record Stylus Day, Nagaoka would accept used or broken record styli from customers nationwide and responsibly hold a memorial service for them.
In 2020, commemorating Nagaoka’s 80th anniversary, we are reviving the memorial service for record styli, expressing our gratitude to the styli that produce good sound every day, emphasizing the importance of replacing styli, and encouraging the habit of listening to records with good sound.
We are collecting worn or broken styli nationwide that are difficult to dispose of, and Nagaoka will responsibly hold a memorial service for them at Ongaku-ji Temple. Additionally, three people selected by lottery from those who send in styli will receive a stylus cleaner, “AM801/2.”
