This product is an acrylic protector designed to protect the paper label at the center of a record from water when washing the record with water.
Methods for cleaning records include using cleaning spray or a cleaning brush, but washing with water using this product is particularly effective for records with heavy dirt.

Reflecting requests and suggestions for improvement received from users of the label protector “CLP０１,” released in August 2019, we enlarged the screw section of the handle and modified it to be easier to hold, resulting in a design that makes cleaning even easier. In addition, flattening the shape of the screw section makes it possible to place an LP record down while it remains set in the protector. Furthermore, we reduced the weight by making the acrylic protector section as thin as possible. These changes reduce the burden on the handle during washing and make the record easier to dry afterward.

Replacement rubber gaskets and rubber sheets are included in case the rubber gasket section deteriorates after prolonged use.

To use the product, sandwich the record from both sides with this product so that it covers the record label, then tighten the screws to protect the record label from water.
To prevent water ingress, a rubber gasket is fitted around the circumference of the protector, and rubber sheets are fitted around the screw holes. This securely fixes the protector while preventing damage caused by water getting onto the label.
